Tech education your residents will actually look forward to.

Tech Made Simple Cherokee brings structured, patient technology sessions to senior living communities, libraries, churches, and community organizations across Cherokee County.

Bring a Session to Your Community

Your residents need this. Your staff cannot be the ones to teach it.

Troubleshooting someone's iPhone is not in your activities director's job description. But the questions keep coming: how do I FaceTime my daughter, why is my storage full, what is this notification asking me to do?

Tech Made Simple Cherokee is a turnkey education program. We bring the curriculum, the printed materials, and an instructor who knows how to teach this audience without talking down to them. You provide the room and the people.

Six sessions. One clear path.

Each session builds on the last. Participants gain real confidence over three months, not a disconnected collection of tips they forget by next week.

📱
Session 1
Your Phone, Your Way
Clear the clutter. Understand what is on the device and make it feel manageable again.
🔑

💬
Session 4
Staying in Touch
Video calls, texting with photos, and sharing with family without confusion.
🛡️
Session 5
Protecting What Matters
Updates, suspicious messages, and account safety. Maintenance, not fear.
Session 6
Your Phone Works for You Now
Settings, accessibility, and the confidence to keep going after the series ends.
Three months to confidence

What a session looks like.

90 minutes, never rushed

60 minutes of guided instruction using a printed handout with step-by-step walkthroughs. The final 30 minutes are open for questions and one-on-one help with individual devices.

That final half hour is where the real trust gets built. Participants get help with their specific phone, their specific question.

Small groups, personal attention

Sessions are designed for 10 to 20 participants. Small enough that no one is invisible in the back row. Large enough to create energy in the room.

Larger communities can run multiple groups by floor, wing, or interest level. Each group gets the same full experience.

Professional printed handouts

Every participant leaves with a clear, well-designed handout they take back to their room. Large text, labeled screenshots, and a discovery section for practicing on their own.

No one has to memorize anything or take notes. The handout is the reference.

Plain language, zero assumptions

Instruction is calm, clear, and grounded in the way people actually use their devices. Technical terms are explained in real words the first time they appear.

No one is made to feel behind. Because they are not behind. They were never shown.

Who we work with.

If your community includes people who could use more confidence with their devices, we are a good fit.

Michael Williams

Meet Michael.

I started Tech Made Simple Cherokee because I kept seeing the same thing: smart, capable people who felt embarrassed that they could not figure out their own phone.

They were not behind. They were never shown.

I teach technology the way it should have been taught from the start. Calmly, clearly, and without a single assumption about what you already know. Every session is designed so that people walk out feeling more confident than when they walked in.
